- Include a meaningful subject line.
- Use standard grammar, spelling, vocabulary etc.
- One way to makes sure that you are writing professionally is to write in Word and then copy/paste it into the E-mail.
- Be careful about writing jokes. Sometimes humor can be misinterpreted.
- Respond quickly
- It's okay to "trim"
- Make sure that an E-mail can't alter your reputation
